A manufacturer of metal roofing systems was powder coating expensive new HI-R reflective powder coating pigment onto metal roof shingles. Sometimes, a shingle would not be properly coated, resulting in a scrap piece. To recover the costly material, they installed a blow-off booth equipped with EXAIR Model 120022 2" (51mm) Super Air Amplifiers. Before entering the curing oven, any defective powder paint was blown off and collected in a vacuum system, allowing them to recover the paint and reuse the shingle.
