Simplify and speed up nail hole tire repairs with Patch Rubber Company Pilot Wire Patch Plugs. The combination patch and plug fills and seals the injury in one step and are great for repairing punctures to the tread area of passenger and truck tires. After properly preparing the injury area, insert the pilot wire through from the inside, then grab the stem with pliers and pull snug. The dual cure cushion gum coating on the stem and repair unit help create a permanent bond with the tire. Apply with CHEMBLUE Universal Cement #16460 or Patch Rubber Fast-Dry Cement #16451. Use #42378 1/4-Inch carbide cutting tool to ream and standardize the injury prior to installation of the pilot wire patch plug. 1⁄4" pilot wire patch plugs are the maximum puncture repair limit for passenger and light truck tires. Do not use this product for shoulder or sidewall injuries.
