Makita BS001GZ01 40V Max Li-ion XGT Brushless Belt Sander Supplied in a Makpac Case, Batteries and Charger Not Included

The BS001GZ01 is a cordless Belt Sander, powered by 40V Max XGT slide type battery (not included), PDC1200 or PDC1500 portable power packs (not included), to supply energy to the powerful 40V brushless motor, with variable speed controlled by dial and constant speed control, to deliver a maximum power output 1700W when used with PDC1500 (not included) and 1400W with BL4050F (not included) and belt speed 120 to 470 meters per minute. The BS001GZ01 is equipped with lock-on/lock-off function, anti-restart function, tool-less belt change, automatic belt position adjustment, force dust collection or self dust collection and is capable of flush sanding, front and flat right-hand side, enabling sanding along walls. The BS001GZ01 features angle adjustable LED job light; twin LED's with afterglow function, with an adjustable angle of 45 degrees, angle adjustable front handle; can be fixed at 0 degrees vertically or 30 degrees to the rear for sanding to the wall's edge. The handle can be rotated without tools and fixed every 30 degrees between 30 degrees to the rear and 60 degrees to the front, with the vertical direction as 0 degrees. The BS001GZ01 further features tool-less angle adjustment, dust bag with anti-drop feature; designed with a lock mechanism to keep the dust bag from falling off due to its own weight when the Belt Sander is used vertically, including sanding walls, is compatible for using as stationary. The BS001GZ01 has been designed with a flat surface on top of the housing, so can be used upside down as a stationary Belt Sander by using the dedicated clamp complete and guide rule set (both are optional accessories, available separately) and has been designed with the battery positioned above the sanding belt on the front side of the tool; the sanding pressure can be evenly applied to the sanding surface.
