Macassar Ebony Andaman composite wood veneer sheet 8" x 24" raw with no backer x 1/42" thickness. Composite veneer is made by a dying and cutting and stacking process done with real wood veneer to achieve consistent appearance and attractive design. This one is as close to natural Ebony as any of the composite versions. It is basically like any other veneer and is made of real wood. Mostly dark with light streaks as pictured. Some photos show other sizes and wet or finished veneer. Product is unfinished wood. Grain runs longer direction. Ships flat in between thick cardboard. High quality product.
