Use a cleaning and conditioning crème for the leather shoes. Simply apply the crème with a clean dry cloth and work it into the leather. Buff or brush out to provide a fresh finish. If needed, a colored shoe creme may also be used.Fitting tips: As a loafer style shoe, the fit tends to be a little roomier in the toe box and the strap on the top of the shoe is not as securing as a closure located closer to the ankle.Footnotes: Please remember you should not normally want to fit your diabetic patients either shorter or narrower than measured. However, by following these instructions, you will achieve a fit comparable to the other shoes in our line. It is also important to remember that when you are fitting patients that have narrow heels, it will be easier to accommodate their needs with a lace shoe.Recommendation: 1/2 size shorter.
